Purovets have an exciting new opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to start at an excellent modern practice in a beautiful area of Berkshire with easy transport links to Windsor and Maidenstone, and beautiful local greenery.
The role is ideally 5 days per week a candidate wishing to work 4 days would be considered. Shifts vary evenly between 8am and 4pm and 11am and 7pm Monday to Friday across the nursing team, And Saturday mornings 9am to 12pm, with a comfortable 1 in 5 rota, ensuring a great work life balance.
The Practice:
You would be joining a highly qualified team striving to provide exceptional care for our clients' pets and are a unique practice in the area due to our size, location and independence. They also provided advanced services such as soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. After a big renovation last year the practice is modern and advanced.
The role:
To provide nursing care to hospitalised patients, including patient monitoring and health checking, feeding, grooming and walking animals. administer treatments including injections, tablets, fluids and blood transfusions. Performing diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis and x-rays. Assisting in all theatre procedures, including orthopaedic and spay/neuter procedures.
The ideal candidate will be someone who aspires to stand out in their field, and it's this vision and enthusiasm that forms the foundation of the team ethic. You should ideally have a minimum of one year's experience, be passionate about providing a high standard of veterinary care and be looking to develop your nursing skill set.
