Your role as a Cleaner:

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking people, who have a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills who will take pride in their work and who enjoy cleaning in a variety of areas. Based at Sutton Bonington Campus main duties include the general cleaning of offices, teaching spaces, laboratories, toilets, corridors, and stairwells providing excellent customer service at all times.

Previous cleaning experience gained within a similar environment and the ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Hours of Work

Multiple Posts: 16 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday (flexibility will be required). Hours of work are between the hours 6.00am-9.15am.
These positions are offered a permanent basis for 52-week of the year (including student vacation periods).

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to attend the Estates and Facilities induction training courses which will run each month, Monday to Friday mornings between 9am-2pm. Further details will be given at interview.

Please note public transport links to Sutton Bonington Campus are limited before 8.00am.

The interviews for these posts are informal and will take no longer than 20 minutes.

Please note that from 1st May the salary scale for this level will increase to £22,620 to £22,980. Posts will initially be offered at the minimum salary point with progression to the higher salary point achieved through an annual incremental pay rise.
