Summary

The OPRA Group has a great opportunity for an Operations Manager. This position of Operations Manager entails spearheading performance initiatives and ensuring that your team of loss adjusters, along with their designated technical support, consistently deliver top-notch customer care and uphold quality standards for our Insurer clients.

You will play a pivotal role in providing the necessary support to empower your team to meet expectations and realise their career aspirations.

This role is tailored for an Operations Manager within a domestic team, based in London / Essex and Kent, overseeing adjusters, and supporting team members.

Role Duties:

Mentoring, training, and developing direct reports.
Ensuring team targets for client service, technical reporting, and quality are met.
Advocating and implementing our mission of simplifying claims for all parties involved.
Recognising the significance of exceptional customer care, particularly in identifying vulnerable customers, and adhering to the Consumer Duty Act 2023.
Achieving financial targets set for your team and understanding avenues to influence financial outcomes.
Conducting progressive performance meetings for your team.
Ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures.
Engaging with insurer clients as needed and comprehending their unique requirements.
Cultivating effective relationships with internal customers and suppliers.

Operations Manager - Essential Skills & Experience Required:

Experience in property insurance claims handling.
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Demonstrated management skills and the ability to lead a high-performing team handling complex claims.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in IT and maintaining electronic files to a high auditable standard.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
The capacity to communicate effectively with colleagues and address their needs.
A proven track record in managing high-performing teams and delivering outstanding service and results would be advantageous, though we offer comprehensive training to support your professional growth.
