Summary

Raven is here to make a difference, working as a team to build homes and change lives. We’re also ambitious: a sector-leader in carbon reduction, with commercial ventures and a focus on the future.

Want to be part of this? We’re currently recruiting for a Scheduler Planner to join our Scheduling and Administration team.

What you’ll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to provide key scheduling and planning support to our Responsive Repairs Team, and key responsibilities include:

Planning and scheduling operatives’ jobs efficiently to maximise team productivity, ensuring work diaries are full and that back up work is always available in case of cancellations.

Working closely with operatives, team leaders, inspectors, and customer services staff to ensure that job and project descriptions, notes, codes and priorities are accurate and sufficiently detailed on the housing management and other systems.

Demonstrating and maintaining effective communication between trades operatives and our customers.

Ensuring that projects are seen through to their end, coordinating the operatives across the contractors and trades to ensure that the right people are in the right place at the right time

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

Experience of working in a busy environment, preferably with experience and /or knowledge of social housing and/or contractor background

Strong IT skills with the ability to pick up new systems swiftly

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to develop positive working relationships.

Previous experience of using a housing management/resource scheduling system.

Proven organisation and administration experience and skills with a strong attention to detail

You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.

DBS clearance will be required for this role.

What Raven will offer in return:

To create a great experience for our customers, we need to create a great experience for one another. What Raven offers goes beyond the ordinary, giving you the opportunity to join a community of people who share the same values and are passionate about making a difference.
