Summary
The role
In the role of Operations Support you will work as part of our manufacturing team at our St Peters site in Newcastle. You will primarily undertake labouring responsibilities in line with our production requirements.
What you’ll be doing
- General labouring responsibilities within the stores and operations facility
- Material handling as required to move materials and finished components using a fork lift truck
- Distribute materials throughout the machine shops as per production requirements
- Collect deliveries from local suppliers
- Check, verify and book in deliveries upon arrival
- Deal with any enquiries regarding deliveries or materials orders
- Any other tasks that are assigned by the site operations leads
- Assistance with site development
Who we’re looking for
To apply, you must have previous experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing organisation as well as a valid forklift truck and driving licence.
We are looking for someone who has a flexible approach to work activities including working various shift patterns if required to meet production needs.
