The team

The Conversion department is part of the wider Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions directorate. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate on the planning and delivery of our marketing activity and with colleagues across the wider Marketing team, directorate and the University. We have a strong ethos of collaboration and open communication and are proud of our supportive team culture.

The role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with an interest in Marketing and Digital Experience. There will be opportunities to work across a range of marketing activities as you provide support for our student recruitment campaigns and conversion activity, the continued development of our website, digital campus signage and contribute to the day-to-day running of our marketing function. You will also support the teams in creating engaging, interesting and relevant written content for our target audiences, especially domestic undergraduate applicants. This content will be delivered through various channels including email marketing, website content, digital and offline advertising, the University prospectus, and other promotional materials.

This role is only open to recent York St John University graduates. As it is a full time commitment, it will not be suitable for anyone studying on a full time undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Required Skills and experience

We are looking for a graduate with an interest in starting a career in Marketing or Digital. You will have skills in writing content and be organised with the ability to manage your workload effectively. You will need to show creative flair as well as good levels of organisation. You will also need to work both independently and as part of the wider team.
