Summary

We are looking for an Agile Delivery Lead to join us as part of our digital transformation strategy. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal part in making positive change and driving Agile adoption.

The purpose of Agile Delivery Lead role is to:

Manage the effective delivery of high quality products and services to meet user needs.
Identify obstacles and help the team overcome them and encourage continuous improvement of the delivery teams.
Act as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.
Effectively identify and manage risks and issues and ensure mitigation steps are put in place where possible.
Clearly communicate progress with senior stakeholders.
Main responsibilities include:

Lead and coach cross-functional delivery teams in Agile practices, bringing a pragmatic, context specific approach to all stages of project delivery, ensuring teams are working effectively and collaboratively.
Manage multiple projects at any one time, measuring and reporting on delivered outcomes and progress.
Manage complex internal and external dependencies, remove blockers or impediments that affect plans and manage risks.
Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across the organisation to understand needs, clearly articulate requirements and complex technical ideas to drive improvements, resolving conflict and reaching effective, speedy resolution.
The successful candidate will have experience in:

Delivery management of complex software projects in Agile environments to deliver successful outcomes.
Leading fully cross-functional teams bringing together diverse people to work effectively.
Coaching teams in Agile ways of working to increase adoption.
Managing “upward” among senior leadership.
Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.
They will also have a Degree or equivalent work experience
