International Police Check
A Recruitment Support Officer is required to support recruitment by administering contract and compliance checks for successful applicants. The Recruitment Team works hard to attract, manage and hire talented individuals for a diverse range of services and locations across the UK. The Recruitment Support Officer will manage and co-ordinate the pre-employment and onboarding checks of new hires.
Key responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and issue legal employment contract details, taking responsibility for the integrity of the data held and shared from the Virtual Management Systems / Applicant Tracking Systems.
Complete internal transfer’s, including the preparation of Secondments letters.
Process required onboarding checks, including criminal record checks, references, medical declarations, and any other pre-employment checks in line with our Safer Recruitment Policy, SLAs and KPIs.
Comply with organisation and legislative requirements such as GDPR and Safer Recruitment Policy, escalating any non-compliance accordingly.
Quality check and control documentation provided to demonstrate right to work and professional qualifications.
Assist with verifying documentation provided for the submission of criminal record checks and international checks.
Compile accurate and compliant digital HR files and transfer records to HR system (Itrent).
Advise on foreseeable obstacles and solutions to mitigate any issues in the hiring process.
Monitor the progress of all candidate’s journeys through the onboarding process, intervening and escalating issues where relevant, communicating appropriately to relevant parties to ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
Liaise with candidate referees, disclosure bodies/international check body and occupational health provider to facilitate a timely recruitment and onboarding experience for all parties, escalating any obstacles.

Qualifications:
CIPD Level 3 or commitment to achieving.
Experience:
Experience in a previous onboarding/administrative role.
Experience of working within a team environment and achieving team targets.
Previous experience working within a Recruitment/HR environment.
Experience working within a high-volume recruitment team.
Experience in administering pre-employment checks and/or supporting recruitment campaigns.
Experienced in utilising Applicant Tracking System / Virtual Management Systems to follow recruitment processes, safer recruitment and GDPR.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders.
Ability to work autonomously with multiple different information streams.
Ability to communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and manage your time accordingly.
Effective organisation and time management skills.
Ability to follow complex processes.
Desire to tackle problems head on, adapting as required to deliver a seamless experience.
Demonstrate a willingness and ability to operate within a constantly changing environment and as such work priorities and targets may change.
