Summary

Description

Join our Social Care and Education Division's dynamic bid management team as a Bid Writer & Administrator. You will craft professionally written bid content that persuasively articulates System C's offering, maximising our efforts to sell our social care and education products to local governments and healthcare bodies.

This is an exciting role, which requires an ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines. You will author content; collate, review, and edit the content of colleagues; and aid in co-ordination of all bid-related and content library activities. You will join a company with a strong track record in tender/framework/proposal submissions and will add value by maximising the quality of our bids, giving the company an even stronger foothold in relevant markets.

Responsibilities

  • Locate suitable tender and framework opportunities and present these to stakeholders
  • Build a strong knowledgebase of the Social Care and Education Division's product suite and write high quality, persuasive functional and non-functional answers for bids
  • Support the organisation of all framework and tender opportunities, including coordinating written responses; tracking progress; completing supplementary bid documentation; and submitting bids on time
  • Assist the Bid Manager in developing a proposal structure; identifying and articulating key win themes; and producing KPIs, lessons learned, and bid tooling
  • Administering the company's membership on procurement portals and frameworks

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone who has prior bid writing experience, with:

  • A strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to a software/IT domain
  • Excellent writing and copy-editing skills
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision
  • Competence in the use of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365
  • Ability to problem solve and work in a pro-active manner
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the social care, education, and/or healthcare sectors
  • Understanding of key project management methodologies, including Prince2
