Join us as an Executive Decision Support Senior Analyst, Treasury Finance

What you'll do

In this key role, you’ll be preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and yearly rolling forecasts, flash and analysis for Treasury P&L and Balance Sheet. Alongside this, you’ll be working with front office, middle office and other Treasury Finance teams regarding Treasury business activities and the impact on the P&L and Balance Sheet.

Through the course of your work, you’ll be:

  • Maintaining an understanding with the Treasury activities in our core legal entities, such as key Treasury transactions like hedging or capital issuances
  • Supporting senior management, including providing support with project work, covering control and process enhancement, and efficiency initiatives
  • Running analysis, responding to queries and preparing presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Undertaking regular Sarbanes Oxley testing and control, as well as external audit requirements

The skills you'll need

You’ll have knowledge of a banking or treasury environment and an accountancy qualification such as an ACCA, ACA or CIMA. We’ll also need you to have a background of working closely with offshore teams and experience of completing statutory disclosures in addition to normal accounting procedures.

In addition, you’ll demonstrate:

  • Experience of finance control in a financial services environment
  • Knowledge of accounting for term issuance and fixed rate instruments
  • A good understanding of cash and derivative products
  • Knowledge of IFRS, in particular, IAS
  • The ability to manage projects or support ad hoc project work
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work with people across different teams and levels
