The Guinness Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Carer to join our dedicated team in Bristol on a part time basis working 20 hours per week.

Our Extra Care Schemes, are where older people live as independently as possible in their own apartment, but also as part of a community. We are on hand to provide care and support; we are proud to make a real difference to our customer's quality of life.

You could be an experienced Senior Carer looing for a new opportunity with an organisation that has great values, or you could be an experienced Carer, who has a Level 2 NVQ/RQF Qualification in Health and Social Care, who is looking to step up into their next role. You will need to have strong communication and good IT skills.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you would be responsible for:

  • Supporting new and existing team members to deliver high standards of care.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies involved in the planning, provision and monitoring of support to customers.
  • Ensure that customer care plans and risk assessments are followed and contribute to regular reviews of these plans.
  • Support with recruitment and training of new team members
  • Supervise and monitor staff performance.
  • Be fully aware of and follow all policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the evening and weekends on-call rota.
