What will I be doing?

  • The role is responsible for delivering the forecast, budgeting and long-term planning for the Warner business and reporting of the overall financial performance, both internally and to shareholders.
  • In addition, the role will manage the cost aspects of Warner’s significant capital investment programme and have responsibility for the financial evaluation of the Hotel of the Future strategic initiative and management of the Hemel cost base.

What are we looking for?

  • Delivery of monthly board pack and commentary for financial performance, including USALI format financial reporting. Working closely with our investors Blackstone, ensuring all reporting activity is completed accurately and on time and adhoc queries are addressed
  • Co-ordinate and deliver budgeting and forecasting cycles, including managing ‘top-down’ view and commentary on consolidated position
  • Co-ordinate and lead the brand 3/5 year strategic plans development, including the financial modelling and the associated capital investment plan
  • Lead the on-going financial evaluation of the Hotel of the Future strategic initiative, co-ordination with Commercial and Operational finance team to quantify benefits and costs (including cost of implementation)
  • Oversight of capex programme costs, including tracking and management of capital spend to plan. Working with Group Finance team, Property team and Project QS’s to ensure accurate spend and forecasting of capital, including financial challenge of assumptions
  • Coaching and development of the financial analysts to ensure we have a pipeline of finance talent for the future.
