The role:
As a Storekeeper, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for providing stores support.


Day to day, you'll will conduct stock check and order any required stock, issue equipment to soldiers; equipment includes clothing, weapons and spares for tanks. You will be responsible for ensuring the systems are kept up to date with the correct information. You'll also:

  • Conduct equipment issues and receipts using correct procedures
  • Order equipment using correct procedures
  • Drive Land Rovers and operate forklift trucks
  • Assist with store and stock checks
  • Be responsible for the security and safe handling of Company and Authority equipment.

This role is full-time working 39 hours per week (Monday - Friday) based on site at Bovington, Dorset.

Essential experience of the Storekeeper:

  • Driving Licence
  • Competent IT skills (experience with using MS Office applications
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and the customer
  • Good interpersonal skills for interacting confidently with customers
  • Good general health and safety awareness

Security Clearance:

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
