We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced 7.5-tonne Multi Drop Driver to join our York-based client.
About the role
As a Recruit A Driver Driver, you will be flexible to meet the requirements of the business, have a proven track record in a similar type of role for at least 1 year, ideally have Multi-drop experience, and be confident in face-to-face dealings with customers on delivery.
What you need to know:
• Working times: Usually between 11.00 and 19.00
• Shift pattern: Monday – Friday
• Workload: Approx 10 collections per day.
What you must have:
• Must hold a valid UK C1 license for a minimum of 12 months.
• Must have experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle within the last six months, ideally 12 months.
• Must have no more than 6 points on license for minor offenses.
• Must hold an in-date Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must have an up-to-date CPC Qualification Card.
• Must have the ability to carry our manual handling and loading
• Must complete a 1-day classroom training session, along with a driving assessment is required prior to placement commencing.
