Summary
**Personal Assistant / Carer**
PA required for a lady in Macclesfield, SK10 area, who has visual impairment and a learning disability. Assist with social activities, own transport needed.
**Hours and rate of Pay**
£12 per hour.
7.5 hours per week
**Main Duties**
Must be able to drive and have own vehicle.
Accompany to cafés, swimming, garden centres.
Social activities.
Basic meal planning, light lunch preparation using appropriate aids to promote safety.
Learning how to use smart technology and adaptations when out grocery/ personal shopping.
Regular input with route mapping when out in her local community.
**Personal Assistant Specification**
My DBS check will be required.
Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
