Summary

Reinsurance Asset Manager required by global Re-Insurer


You will be a reinsurance expert, capable of managing complex quota share reinsurance activities for both Lloyd's and companies market entities relating to outwards reinsurance activities.

You will manage a team responsible for all operational aspect of outwards reinsurance, including treaty set up, premium payment, statement of account creation, claim recoveries, cash allocation, credit control, reporting, broker communications and reconciliations.

Responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Lead and develop the Quota Share Reinsurance team.
  • Manage key and complex accounts within the Quota Share Reinsurance Pillar for statement of account calculations, review and reconciliation in conjunction with brokers and other counterparties.
  • Manage the team to ensure timely and accurate production of our quota share statements of account for internal and external counterparties across Syndicate and Company markets.
  • Work with the Head of Reinsurance Asset Management to complete and pass all internal controls within SLAs.
  • Support the team to enable them to complete the reconciliation, booking and statement of account creation for their assigned accounts.
  • Review and sign off all Profit Commission and Sliding Scale Commission calculations.
  • Develop the internal reporting outputs to provide a clear picture of the current position for the full program of quota share programs in place across Syndicate and Company markets.
  • Support the Head of Reinsurance Asset Management to enhance our procedure notes, filing structure and workflow processes within the pillar.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders such as the OWRI Placement team, Underwriting & Claims departments, brokers, and other Internal/external clients to resolve queries.
