Summary

POSITION: AIMS SKILLS PROGRAMME FACILITATOR (DRIVER ESSENTIAL)

LOCATION: LIVERPOOL

HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

SALARY: £24,999

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual who is committed to working with Young People, supporting them to navigate challenges, make positive choices and achieve positive outcomes. You will have knowledge and understanding of the issues associated with homelessness, relationship breakdowns, disadvantage, risk taking behaviours, Trauma, and ACES. Ideally you will have experience in liaising with statutory and voluntary agencies, at least 2 years working with Young People.

AIMS Skills Programme Facilitator will deliver engaging face to face and online sessions to Young People and encourage a minimum of 12 weeks attendance on our programme. You will provide one to one mentoring alongside the programme offering support based on a strengths based needs assessment.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Individual assessment, planning, support and session delivery for clients engaged in Local Solutions AIMS Programme. Facilitate Group based skills programme sessions.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE WILL BE:

o Provide an individualised, flexible approach to supporting clients on the AIMS Skills Programme.


o Complete high quality initial assessment, risk assessment, ongoing support planning and reviews as well as delivery of specialist sessions.


o Collect and record evidence around sustained accommodation, individual progress, assessment completions and other outcome target data.


o Act as a coordinating presence for additional support provision and multi-agency input.


o Provide integrated support within sports and watersports setting and education, employment or voluntary settings.


o Identify changing levels of need and tailor support appropriately.


o Plan and deliver flexible and appropriate support into clients accommodation which promotes sustained tenancies.


o Liaise with delivery partners including accommodation providers, referrers and education and employment providers.


o Build and maintain networks and relationships with essential and complimentary services across the city.


o Co-ordinate multi agency responses, to ensure wrap around responses to meet the needs of service users.


o Use information and insight from performance to inform priorities and determine interventions.


o Participate in staff development reviews and supervision.


o Ensure Service User Participation and collaboration.


o Deliver Strengths based, person centred, trauma informed support to individuals and groups.


o Work with the Head of Support & Safeguarding and AIMS Programme Coordinator to develop the service in innovative ways to deliver maximum benefit.


o To take a role in upholding and promoting Local Solutions values.


o Undertake any other task that may be deemed necessary.
