Are you calm; do you have a calming personality?

Become a Positive Behavioural Support Worker.

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It’s their life, their way.

We are looking for someone to join the team in Ellesmere Port supporting individuals with complex needs who require the extra support to achieve goals. You will be supporting in their home, so it’s important you can engage, share moments and make memories.

We have opportunities for highly motivated people to work in a demanding and rewarding environment where Positive Behaviour Support is at the core, where we support people to move from long term hospital stay/residential settings to live more independently.

The most important thing is a caring and resilient attitude, and the ability to use positive, calm and clear communication to enhance the day-to-day lives of the people we support.

We are looking for waking night Positive Behavioural support workers for 36 hours a week.

The shifts will be 10pm to 8am, and will include some weekend working.

So, if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence.

Why join us?

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Positive Behavioural Support Worker.

We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS.

We provide a package of benefits that make it that bit easier to be your best and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it’s not all shopping trips and football matches. We also support people to take medication, assist with personal care, make healthy lifestyle choices and maintain their home in a way they feel safe, well and happy.
