Summary

The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a Battery Builder for our client based in Trafford Park, who are a leading provider of advanced energy storage solutions for the automotive and industrial markets. They design and manufacture battery technologies used across a wide range of applications.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in battery building or manufacturing would be an advantage, but candidates who can understand technical drawings will be considered.

    About the Role - Key Responsibility Areas:

  • Assemble battery components accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards
  • Operate machinery and tools safely and correctly
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Report any issues or defects to team leader/supervisor
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking
  • Flexibility to work in different areas of the DC as needed
    Personal & Technical Competencies
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to battery building
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow strict quality control standards
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and communicate issues
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required
  • Familiarity with battery chemistry and materials is a plus

    The starting pay rate will be £11.44 per hour for 6 weeks of training, and the rate will then increase to £12.28 per hour.

    Temporary to Permanent
