Summary
The team is supported by two team leads at UHND, with each of the three inpatient physiotherapy teams at CDDFT having an orthopaedic specialist team lead. The post holder will be responsible for supervising band 3 and 4 physiotherapy assistants and band 5 junior physiotherapists. The successful applicant will support students at an undergraduate level as a clinical educator. The trust has a multitude of learning and development opportunities available as well as education links with Teesside and other local universities. The role provides opportunities to be involved with clinical research. The team are very committed to providing a robust in-service training programme which the post holder will be encouraged to take an active part in developing, leading and benefitting from sessions towards maintaining CPD. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with peers and team leaders across the CDDFT sites to develop the physiotherapy service in the inpatient physiotherapy team. There is potential for the successful candidate to rotate within inpatient disciplines if required by the service or to benefit the individual.
