What’s the Job?
We’re looking for a janitor to join our Estates Department which is responsible for providing a high-quality support service with regards to the College buildings’ operational needs and its grounds.

Hours
-35 hours per week on shift patterns to cover College opening hours between 6am and 6.30pm Monday/Wednesday, 9.30pm Tuesday/Thursday and 5.30pm Friday.
-Occasional weekend work as and when required.

Who we’re looking for?
We’re looking for a team player who is professional in what they do and will have experience of working in a maintenance or janitorial role. We embrace diversity here at Dumfries and Galloway College and welcome applications from across our community. We want you to display an ability to prioritise works and helpdesk requests. We need you to know key holding operations and be familiar with fire / security alarm operations. You will need to be customer focussed and flexible regarding shift work and be aware of the use of risk assessments and method statements prior to engaging in tasks.
