Summary
To maintain a safe secure environment for all of the children
· Ensure that the emotional, social, intellectual and physical needs of the children are met.
· Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered too at all times.
· Report to senior members of staff if any problems or seeking advice
· Adhere to all staff rotas and breaks including nappy changes, cleaning, laundry, garden and staff room duties.
· To keep records of work, and plan and carry out observations
· Ensure that all registers are completed and presentable stored away in the correct files so can be found when required.
· To be able to work towards and maintain all standards.
· To follow the Early Years Foundation stage framework, being responsible for your key children’s recording, development and planning, ensuring they are always up to date and asking for help if needed.
· To attend all staff meetings and training evenings.
· Maintaining staff ratios
· Ensuring the preparation, care cleanliness and maintenance of the room is to a high standard at all times.
· Adhere to any tasks or duties given to you from your head of room
· Support new staff in their new role being a role model for them to follow.
· Communicate with children consistently to enhance their communication and language.
· Plan and carry out activities for all children ensuring they are fun, stimulating and suitable for their age and stage of development.
You will recive paid leave for the week between Christmas and New year as the setting is closed.

Job Types: Full-time 5 days per week , Permanent, 41 hours per week between the hours of 7.30am,-5.30pm, Part time position also available.
