Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Hayle.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
The work will involve offering daily support to 3 ladies with a learning disability which can include support with shopping, budgeting, decision making, support with general day to day activities and inclusion in the community.

Each day is different, you may be supporting with meal planning, arts and crafts, days out, visiting family or shopping trips. All 3 ladies have very different personalities, likes and dislikes so no day will be the same.

This role will suit an outgoing person who is committed to supporting and encouraging people to achieve their best. You should be motivated to look for opportunities and ways of working with people which can give new experiences and introduce them to new and exciting things.

What we're looking for:
· A genuine passion for supporting others.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options
· · Part-time: flexible hours based on availability
Shift times:
We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
