The Neonatal Service delivers care across two sites at the City and Queens Medical Centre Campuses. As a lead centre for the East Midlands Neonatal Operational Delivery Network, we offer both medical and surgical intensive care for extremely preterm and very sick infants. Our aim is for babies to be treated in the right place, at the right time, by knowledgeable skilled staff putting families at the centre of their babies care. Through close relationships with families, the service incorporates parent/carer involvement to improve the care that is provided. We are proud to be both BLISS accredited and Pathway to Excellence achievers since July 2020.

An informal visit is recommended for a tour of the Neonatal unit and the opportunity to meet with other members of the Family care team.
