Summary
Business Services Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has a requirement for an interim Statutory Accountant to undertake a 3 month interim assignment to support the finance function in the preparation and completion of Year End for several Group entities.
What will the Statutory Accountant role involve?
• Production of external reporting including statutory and regulatory requirements for multiple group entities;
• Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and control account reconciliations;
• Submission of Corporation Tax and VAT returns;
• Evolution of internal processes and ensuring reporting accuracy;
• Act as a key point of contact with the external auditors;
Suitable Candidate for the Statutory Accountant role:
• Applicants will ideally be practice trained or possess relevant industry experience;
• Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified with post qualified experience relevant to the role;
• Able to work independently with excellent attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills and able to partner effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
