Summary
My client based in Mid Cornwall near St Austell are currently looking for an experienced bar manager to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position with hours and shifts to be discussed at Interview stage. My client is looking for someone who can start immediately and who will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
The successful candidate must have proven work history in the hospitality industry and hold a Personal Licence to serve or sell alcoholic drinks.
The establishment serves food so some knowledge of a professional kitchen is required to support and liaise with kitchen staff. There are also rooms to let so previous experience in accommodation would be advantageous.
What’s required from you:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the establishment including restaurants, bars and rooms.
• Ensure the establishment is compliant with health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
• Previous experience overseeing a busy bar is a must, to ensure efficient and quality drinks service to all restaurant and accommodation guests.
• Ensure all staff are motivated to perform to the high standards required to provide exceptional service to both customer and guests.
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
Driving Licence and transport preferred
Salary to be discussed depending on previous experience. Circa £25k+
