Summary
Early Years Practitioner.
This is a temporary position; September 2024 to August 2025
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable practitioner to join our ‘Outstanding’ friendly team who are committed to giving the children in our care the best start. You will be required to provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment for children and collaboratively work with colleagues, parents and carers.
Day to day duties include:
• Caring for children aged 2 to 5 years.
• Planning activities to meet individual children’s needs.
• Setting up the room for the day and tidying up at the end of the session
• Being responsible for contributing to children’s learning journeys and writing children’s reports
• Be a dedicated practitioner who wants to support preschool children to develop socially emotionally and intellectually
• Have high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Enjoy being part of a supportive, pro-active and energetic team
Applicants must have a recognised qualification such as NNEB, BTEC, NVQ level 2 or 3 and at least two to three years post qualifying experience, preferably working with children aged between 2 and 5 years old.
