Summary

As the Training Manager for Accept Care ltd, you will have responsibility for both the development and delivery of training courses for our staff. This role would suit an experienced training delivery practitioner with great interpersonal skills and a commitment and loyalty to the team and organisation. This will include working with other senior managers to develop training plans for the organisation. The position holder will be required to maintain Information Governance, confidentiality and discretion at all times. You must be physically fit as you will be expected to engage in the company’s de-escalation training (MAYBO – following qualification) and be a car driver.

Role Specific Duties:

• Undertake regular organisation-wide training needs analysis for our staff and build a training plan based on needs.

• Maintain a database of potential learners and attendees for the courses.

• Report back to senior management on course feedback and key learnings.

• Designing, organising and promoting a range of high-quality courses for staff and volunteers across the organisation i.e. Induction/core training, Safeguarding, Dementia, Mental Health, Health & Safety. To ensure all mandatory training is completed as per CQC and DDC guidance.

• Creating, maintaining and updating a training matrix/log.

• Collect relevant data relating to course feedback and key learning.

• Attend key meetings as required.

• Review and identify current training needs, plan and implement a training programme for the organisation

• Identifying, plan and source current and future training needs for the organisation.

• Planning and delivering high-quality inductions for new starters.

• Focus on delivering positive customer outcomes and managing risk associated with training.

• Oversee compliant and robust processes through actively managing internal processes and procedures.

• Update and maintain the ASC – WDS within Skills for Care
• Source funding or grants for training.
• Deliver In House MAYBO training to include, Positive Approaches to Behaviour, SAFER de-escalation, Personal Safety, Disengagement, Guiding and Redirection. (this requires certification from Maybo, attending courses, and yearly recertification within the UK.)

The ideal candidate will have some level of training experience including in face to face training and substantial knowledge in Health & Social Care.
