Aimbridge EMEA are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive in this brand new to market position. Bought on by growth at the hotel, we're looking for a proactive sales superstar that can be the face of the Hotel and represent the property at client meetings and drive proactive new business.

A day in the life of…

As Sales Executive your role will be to carry out projects and generate leads resulting in revenue growth within the business and support the delivery of the commercial strategy. Identifying any new leads and contacts, working with the front of house teams in driving engagement. You will conduct sales lead calls to potential new accounts and clients and ensuring all sales databases are kept accurate and up to date. Performing general office duties and administrative tasks where needed which include weekly and monthly reports. Working closely with our social media teams to generate media footage and content.

Based in the Mercure Newport, you will be part of a small (but mighty!) team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 2 years Reservations,Sales or Front Office experience within a hospitality environment. You should also be able to display excellent communication skills.Be confident to develop and maintain relationships to negotiate and close deals.Good presentation skills and organisational skills are also desired. A full clean driving license and car is essential to travel around the local area. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
