Summary

Senior Curriculum Head Business and Professional



Salary: £43,258 - £48,100 per annum



Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year



Location: Paignton, Devon



The post will be responsible for overseeing the curriculum delivery and development at Vantage Point, SWEC and delivery from the Torquay Campus and Plymouth Hub.



The post holder will be a member of the College Leadership Team [CLT].



The role provides curriculum leadership at all levels that will ensure the standards of teaching, support, learning and assessment are the highest in the sector and to lead/sustain the curriculum to an ‘Outstanding’ level. The post holder will oversee the leadership & management of all staff and ensure the effective delivery of a high-quality learning experience for all students.



The post will take a specific lead in supporting and guiding the Department Leadership Team (DLT) in business and professional solutions for all internal and external stakeholders collaborating with all cross-college curriculums. The role will take an active and lead role in regional business and employer groups and forums promoting activity and cross-college courses.



Applications are invited from candidates who have experience of managing and leading a team and evidence of recent industrial updating/experience. You must be qualified to degree level with teaching and assessing qualifications and have experience of IQA and working with other awarding bodies.
