Summary
To work on the Elective Orthopaedic wards / clinics & Outpatients at the city hospital Assessment, progression and discharge planning of patients following a trauma To utilise rehabilitation programmes To assist Occupational Therapists in the fitting of splints and Brace to patient on a variety of wards including Intensive Care To be responsible for your own caseload, working both individually and alongside other members of the team OT tasks will include being responsible for gathering information about home circumstances, completing specific functional assessments Ordering equipment and providing rehabilitation and planning discharges Daily administration and clerical tasks that are key in this role
