An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at a RCVS accredited practice in Oxford. As a qualified MRCVS, the successful candidate will have good experience gained in small animal practice and will be competent in clinical examination and surgery. They will be confident working sole charge or as part of the wider team, sharing our client's values of being trustworthy, caring and progressive.

Working alongside two full-time vets in a large spacious building, the Lead Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for leading the clinical team, ensuring high standards of patient and client care are maintained. They will also display good communication skills and the desire to share their knowledge and skills by being an outstanding, positive example to others.

Our client is a well-functioning practice established 75 years ago, located in the East Oxfordshire area in a vibrant and exciting central location of Oxford City. The team consists of 3 experienced Veterinary Surgeons and a large nursing and reception team. The practice offers a personal approach to patient and client care alongside onsite access to ultrasound and digital x-ray imaging, laboratory diagnostics and endoscopy.

Furthermore, the practice is just a 20 minute drive from our client's 24 Hr Hospital in Woodstock: offering convenient access to orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries and 24 hour onsite care. There is an ambulance transfer service to and from the hospital to support case management. Public transport is easily accessible alongside onsite parking available for both colleagues and clients.
