Role: Head Veterinary Nurse

Purovets is currently seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to join an independent, modern, state-of-the-art small animal practice located in a picturesque village on the London/Hertfordshire border. Their practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including Digital Dental equipment, X-ray, Ultrasound, In-house laboratory, fully equipped Operating Theatre, and separate cat and dog kennels. This allows their veterinary staff to deliver top-notch care to all patients which has earned our client Silver Status accreditation from the ISFM cat Friendly Clinic.

Working Hours and Benefits:
• Full-time position: 40 hours per week on a rota basis.
• Regular shifts between 8 am and 7 pm, with Saturdays on a rota between 8.30 am and 5 pm. A day off in lieu will be provided for working on Saturdays.
• No out-of-hours work required.
• Competitive salary in the range of £30,000 to £36,000, commensurate with experience.
• 28 days of annual leave plus an additional day off for your birthday.
• Sick pay on an accrual basis.
• One paid mental health day off per year.
