About this role…

Assessment Centres are fast paced services where people are referred in, usually from the street, and rapidly referred on to appropriate longer term accommodation. The services are short stay, and staff provide wrap around support and liaison with several external partners, including physical health, mental health, substance use and housing. Staffed 24 hours to ensure this quick turnaround, they are a key service to ensure people are off the streets and in stable accommodation.

Thames Reach welcomes applications from people with transferable skills.

You will:

- Conduct rapid risk and accommodation assessments with clients moving in to the service
- Liaise with external agencies and councils to ensure clients are receiving wrap around support
- Increase move on and throughput in the centre
- Ensure the environment is safe, healthy, and reflective of our ethos and supports our client’s aims
- Be outcome focussed, fostering a culture of high performance and continual improvement on your and the team’s successes.

To succeed as the Night Support Worker, you will be:

- Outcome focussed
- Organised and efficient in your work
- Excellent at communicating and problem solving
- Confident in your ability to support clients and engage with a range of partners
- Competent at using a computer and a range of software packages
- Committed to developing your knowledge and skills

We are listed in the top 100 UK Best Workplaces 2023 in the UK. As part of a commitment to our employees we offer:
