Summary

Our people make us great and to reward you we offer an excellent benefits package including a minimum of 41 days annual leave, employer pension contributions of 17.6%, hybrid and flexible working options, access to our benefits and Employee Assistance programme and more!

Do you have expertise in energy and/or skills delivery? Looking for a role where you can shape strategy? We’ve got a perfect opportunity for you to influence the future of the built environment.

Join us at Built Environment – Smarter Transportation (BE-ST) as an Impact Manager to play a crucial part in our mission to accelerate the built environment’s transition to zero carbon emissions.

Depending on your area of expertise, you’ll be scoping, designing, and delivering impactful programmes of work which relate to your specific area. You’ll have the opportunity to lead the way, helping us shape our strategy by creating state-of-the-art solutions to address the key challenges we face as a country in achieving net zero.

You’ll join a culture of transformation, collaborating with large scale public and private organisations to embed innovation in our high impact major projects to support their transition to zero carbon. To help us continue to help the sector unlock its potential to find a way forward, you’ll always be keeping an eye on what’s coming through future, foresight, and horizon scanning.

To enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce, you’ll have the opportunity to share your breath of knowledge by getting involved in designing training programs. If you’re experience lies in energy, you will develop programs which support the Scottish Government’s just transition to clean heat.

If you’re looking for an environment where you can take risks, experiment, and explore big ideas, this is it.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re a highly creative team in the innovation space, so we’re looking for you to bring your expertise in energy and/or skills delivery to challenge the norm and bring forward innovative ideas. If your expertise lies in either (or both) of the areas highlighted below, we’d love to hear from you.

As an expert in all things skills delivery, you may have experience as a training provider, comfortable creating training courses including online content creation and engage with industry, the tertiary sector, or schools.

Or you might consider yourself more of an expert on the energy side of things, ready to share your expertise in Scottish and UK net zero heaty policy, net zero heat supply chain and the implications of a just transition for net zero heat to make an impact.

You’ll use your strong connections and outstanding relationship management skills to establish networks of like-minded individuals to support us on our journey to a more sustainable built environment.

At BE-ST innovation is more than just a buzzword, it’s how we drive positive change. So, we’ll be looking for you to deliver a wide range of innovation projects which make an impact.

If you’re interested but want to hear more, reach out to Lyndsey Brydson, Head of Digital Programmes lbrydson@be-st.build for an informal discussion about the role.
