Would you like to play a pivotal role supporting the delivery of high-quality research and student education activities?

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and motivated Business Operations Officer to support the Leeds Institute of Clinical Trials Research (LICTR). You will join the team to provide high quality administrative support to the Institute’s processes in purchasing, communications, and events. This role will have a particular focus supporting administration across the division, ensuring a consistent grant application experience, promoting grant successes, and liaising with marketing to generate publicity.

You will also be responsible for managing the Institute’s local databases including updating Teams and Sharepoint sites, taking responsibility for raising IT issues; organising and booking complex UK and overseas travel and accommodation plans and supporting delivery of trips with things such as equipment, itineraries and visas, when required.

You will work with other colleagues within the Business Operations Teams and from Professional Services across the Institute and Faculty, including Marketing, Purchasing and Research Finance Offices, to adopt and embed a continuous improvement and service excellence approach. This will involve establishing and developing best practice processes & procedures and working to ensure these are implemented through Faculty peer networks. You will be expected to handle confidential information in a discreet, sensitive and diplomatic manner, ensuring security of access to such information is maintained at all times.
