Exciting Opportunity: Behaviour Mentors & Learning Support Assistants Needed!
Job Details:
- Role: Behaviour Mentor / Learning Support Assistant
- Daily Rate: £100 per day
- Duration: Long-Term (Summer Term)
- Start Date: Immediate
- Contract: Monday - Friday (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (ages 11 - 16) within an SEN Provision
- Support students who are disengaged from mainstream education or have additional needs (Social, Emotional, Mental Health/Behavioural Needs)
Requirements:
- Experience with Learning Difficulties, SEMH, and/or EBD preferred
- Ability to manage challenging/confrontational behavior
- Previous experience working with children or young people
- Valid and Enhanced Child or Child and Adult DBS check registered on the update service
Role Overview:
- Assist students with tasks and activities set by teachers
- ️ Address behavioral and special needs issues in collaboration with teaching staff
- Help implement lesson plans and support the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Build rapport and establish positive relationships with students and teachers
