LTF Recruitment are currently working with a wonderful, inclusive primary school in Harrow. The school are seeking a qualified Teaching Assistant, with SEN experience, to provide 1:1 support to a child in the school's Year 4 class with ASD. The school are looking for some to working with them providing direction and attentive support, the ideal candidate will be a patient, calm, and nurturing support for the children.
As a Teaching Assistant your duties will include:
- Working alongside and providing additional support to year 2 child with ASD
- Liaising with the class teacher and school SENCO around progress of pupils.
- Running phonics lessons to children working below age expected levels.
- Working 1:1 with children who have ASD
- Being a positive member of the school staff and promoting their values
The school are looking for candidates who:
- Hold a relevant degree or TA qualification.
- Have experience working with children within a school.
- Can adapt approach to meet learner's needs.
