Are you a passionate and motivated Psychology graduate? Do you have a genuine desire to support children with special education needs in a primary school setting?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the support staff team of a fantastic Priamry school in the Camden Area. This exciting graduate role is available to start ASAP, working for the remainder of the academic year, and the right candidate will progress onto a permanent contract with the school.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to children with special education needs, focusing on academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to create tailored learning plans.
- Implement interventions to address behavioural challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
- Conduct assessments to monitor progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
- Deliver one-on-one and small group sessions to develop essential skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
- Prior experience in special education or similar setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special education needs.
