The Children primarily have communication, interaction, and specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia. Some of the children/young people may be on the Autistic Spectrum, have anxieties or difficulties that can create a barrier to their learning.
Duties
You would be providing an Occupational Therapy service which is efficient so that students needs are met and are continuously assessed. You will assess the functional and sensory limitations of children within their academic and wider settings. Writing of in-depth reports to include reasoning skills based on findings from assessments. To work with the child, their support network, and other agencies. To deliver individualised interventions within the child’s EHCP and through your own assessments.

Criteria
• Full Driving Licence and vehicle business insurance.
• A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy is Essential.
• At Least 2 Years post graduate experience.
• Current Registration with the HCPC.
• Knowledge of relevant protection, health & Safety, and legislation.
• Experience of the Sensory Integration Theory to Level 3.
