Summary

Water Treatment / Hygiene Lead Engineer in the following:

• Chlorination and sampling of domestic water systems to current standards.
• Cold water tank refurbishments/replacement works
• Closed system chemical and bacteriological testing
• Closed-system chemical treatment
• TMV checks and servicing
• Small plumbing works desirable
•Day to day running of projects including paperwork and samples.
•Ensuring paperwork is returned to the office in a timely manner.
•Liaising with site engineers, clients and subcontractors.
•Ensuring all equipment and materials required for jobs are organized.
•As part of our Service / Hygiene team, you will be responsible for completing water hygiene / treatment PPM, remedial closed system dosing and sampling, Cooling tower cleans, in hours reactive callouts, temperature monitoring, microbiological samples, CWST and TMV inspection and servicing, calorifier blowdown, showerhead clean and chlorination, flushing, water risk assessments reviews, remedial works and plumbing tasks
•Ensuring all works are carried out to the correct standards (BS8558, HSG274 P1-3, ACOP L8, BS7593, BSRIA,BS,ACOP etc.)
•Attending onsite meetings and surveys as required.
•Ensuring site folders are up to date including paperwork, toolbox talks, equipment lists and RAMS.
•Looking after company equipment on site and ensuring it is returned to the office in a clean state and working order or report any faults and defects.
•If applicable ensuring company vehicles are clean
•Assisting with engineer training and progression.
•Hands on site works.
•Any other task requested by senior management within reason.
•Adhere to Company Health & safety procedures and site health and safety procedures at all times. Work to RAMS at all times
•Reporting any delays to the office to ensure they can be costed.

About you:
• Full UK Driving Licence Desirable
• Water Treatment / Water Hygiene with some plumbing experience is preferred
• Organised, self-motivated, and good work ethic
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good numeracy skills
• Take pride in all works
• Positive Attitude
• Be able to balance a variety of tasks
• Presentable appearance as the role requires client interaction
