Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Duct Erector / Fitter to join our team. As a Duct Erector / Fitter, you will be responsible for installation of various duct work sections on site nationwide.
Due to site work required a valid clean driving license is required, along with a current in date CSCS card. IPAF and Asbestos is advantageous.
This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools and hand tools. If you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Measure and mark materials for cutting or shaping
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Duct Erector / Fitter
- Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills
