This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the Cheshire Mental Health Support Team's (MHST) based in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. We have 1 post available within the team, 1 part time 30 hour CYPWP.

The Band 5 Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioners will work with colleagues in the Ellesmere Port MHST who align closely with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, education settings and professionals supporting children, young people and their families.

The post involves working directly with schools, colleges and settings providing information, advice and guidance through consultation, direct work with children and young people and their families and delivering evidence based interventions.

We will require successful applicants to be registered with either the BABCP or the BPS as you will be working within a NHS commissioned service.

Experience of working/training within an MHST is desirable.

The post-holder will work within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Mental Health Support Team (Ellesmere Port MHST) and provide a range of assessment and other interventions on an individual and wider systems basis under close clinical supervision from experienced staff.

Accessing regular case management and clinical supervision on an individual and group basis will be an important aspect of the role.

The post-holder will be able to deliver a range of 1:1 and group Low Intensity CBT based interventions for children, young people, and parents/carers.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care – including the provision of three GP surgeries.
