An rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Support Nurse role in Vascular Access Unit. If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care related to vascular access and you are ready for the next move in your career, we would like to hear from you!

As a Specialist Support Nurse in Vascular Access Unit you will be trained to insert PICC lines and acute CVCs as well as remove Hickman lines. You will be actively involved in the teaching sessions targeted to the ward nurses and you will be participating in performing audits relevant to the speciality.

The post holder is responsible for the provision of high quality, patient focused care.

Responsible for assessing, developing and implementing specialist nursing programmes.

Responsible for providing specialist advice and support to, and liaising with, other staff.

Competent in insertion of central venous access devices.
