The role

We are seeking enthusiastic Casual Academics to contribute to our vibrant postgraduate offers in the Business Management - MSc International Project Management and MSc Digital Marketing; and Health programs – MSc Public Health and MSc Global Healthcare Management.

The academic knowledge required for this particular role is exclusive to the areas of Business Management or Health. The successful candidates will be involved in teaching and research/scholarly activities. The involvement in teaching entails a variety of settings, including small group tutorials/seminars and lectures; assessment; and the provision of pastoral and academic support to students. The involvement in research/scholarly activities entails our support in developing a solid research profile for the successful candidates with a clear research plan and trajectory relevant to the areas of Business Management or Health. 

The successful candidates will be joining a growing team of academics with excellence in teaching postgraduate programmes as well as burgeoning engagement and aspirations in producing impactful research and scholarly outputs.

Required skills and experience

Candidates will have expertise in teaching in areas of Business management or Health at a postgraduate level. The successful candidates will be supported in cultivating an impactful research profile in relevant areas.

Candidates must hold a good, relevant first degree, or master’s degree with professional experience in Business Management or Health subjects. Holding a doctoral-level qualification (DBA/PhD) in relevant areas or near completion within one year is desirable/preferable.

Candidates must hold a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (or willingness to undertake).

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a clear research plan, trajectory or aspiration toward their areas of research interest and the potential contribution.

Candidates with professional business experience coinciding with the previously mentioned academic qualifications will be highly considered.
