Main duties include:
- Perform various aspects of stonework, including the construction of stone walls, pathways, facades, and other structures, utilizing a variety of stone types.
- Execute detailed stonework designs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties.
- Choose appropriate stone materials, taking into consideration quality, durability, and visual appeal.
- Repair and restore existing stonework, ensuring it maintains its structural integrity and visual appeal.
- Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards to ensure the safety of yourself and others, as well as the quality of work.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Interact professionally with clients, providing advice on stonework options, presenting project estimates, and explaining design and repair processes.
Skills and Education:
- Proven experience as a Stone Mason.
- Proficiency in stonework techniques, including cutting, shaping, and setting stones.
- Knowledge of different types of stone materials and their appropriate use in various applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
