Required for September 2024
The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher at our happy and successful Infant school. The post will be in either EYFS or Key Stage One and will include leading teaching and learning responsibility with a focus on English across the whole school.
You will have at least 5 years teaching experience, a thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum and assessment, be passionate about young childrenandrsquo;s learning, have current experience in leading a subject area and be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
All applicants must hold relevant teaching qualifications.

Hill View Infant Academy are seeking someone who:
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to promote high standards of learning
Can assess and record progress of pupilsandrsquo; learning to inform next steps and monitor progress
Can create stimulating and effective learning environments both indoors and outdoors
Can deploy a wide range of effective behaviour management strategies successfully
Can teach using a variety of strategies to maximise achievement for all pupils including those with special educational needs and high achievers
Has excellent interpersonal skills and can work as part of a large team
Has a sound understanding of the delivery of a synthetic phonics programme and can work collaboratively with the Phonics lead
Can monitor teaching and learning in English across the school and inspire improvement
Can work alongside SLT to support a dedicated group of staff
Can empower staff to deliver a play-based, creative curriculum that achieves high standards
