Summary

Purdy Contracts, part of Kinovo Plc, have opportunities for full time, permanent, experienced Gas Engineers working on their Domestic Gas Team. Ideal candidates will live in commutable areas to cover North London/Essex borders and be fully Gas qualified. You will be working as part of a team of experienced Domestic Gas Engineers, duties include:
  • Undertaking planned and reactive service, repair, maintenance and installations of gas appliances (including cookers, fires, boilers) in domestic properties, and in accordance with relevant manufacturer’s instruction and guidance
  • Be responsible for dealing with emergency call out repairs
  • Have strong fault finding/diagnosis ability
    You will be:
    • Gas Safe Registered and hold L3 or ACS qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, unvented hot water and Energy Efficiency
    • Minimum 3 years' experience in providing high quality property/housing gas maintenance work ideally with the Social Housing/Local Authority sector
    • Experience of fault diagnosis, service, repair & maintenance of domestic gas appliances
    • Possess a high level of literacy and numeracy
    • Highly organised, polite and professional manner
    • Have a full clean UK Driving Licence - company van, fuel card and uniform provided
