We are recruiting a SENIOR COOK (PART TIME) to join our client on a temporary flexible basis. This role is a temporary ad-hoc 2-month fixed term contract based within Carey Camp; Wareham is set amongst private woodlands overlooking the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. Catering for schools, educational groups, professional organisations, and the general public.
• Planning menus, working with the budgets provided, and ordering supplies.
• Maintaining the stock control.
• Preparation of the home cooked meals, baking of cakes and desserts and prepare
packed lunches.
• Supervise a small team Kitchen Assistants.
• Supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service to our visiting groups, face to
face serving of meals.
• Clean kitchen areas and equipment to the required standards.
You will have:
• Cook or Chef experience / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Catering
• A valid DBS or willing to undertake one
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
