Cedarbank School has a fixed term vacancy for an Advanced Pupil Support Workers involving work with primary and secondary stage pupils. The role is a fixed term contract until 21/04/25 working 30hrs per week and 39 weeks per year

Cedarbank School is a special school which provides children and young people who have additional learning and care needs an opportunity to access high quality learning and teaching. The curriculum is designed and adapted to meet the diverse needs of the individual learners.

The school is based in Livingston and has strong community links.

The school has both a primary and a secondary department.

The school roll comprised of up to 110 pupils, Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher, 2 Principal Teachers, 18 members of the teaching staff and a team of 25 pupil support workers.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have six months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
